OPENING NIGHT AT THE 62nd CHICAGO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
CHICAGO, Illinois – The Chicago International Film Festival opens tonight with A24's CLUB KID, following a hard-partying New York City club promoter who sees his whirlwind lifestyle upended by the arrival of the 10-year-old son he never knew he had. Writer, director, and star Jordan Firstman walks the carpet and receives the Festival's Breakthrough Award. The Chicago International Film Festival runs through October 25, 2026 at venues across the city, presenting 114 feature films and 57 shorts as part of the 62nd edition of North America’s longest-running competitive film festival.
